Near my home...
Things are going quite well for us out here. Zoey and I found new jobs. We now work in a town of 300 called Manapouri. The Manapouri Lakeview Motor Inn is our new home. The MLMI has a bar, a bistro, a liquor store, and a motel. We sleep in a motel room. Number 608 is home. I work in the bar, mostly at nights and Zoey does house keeping during the day. So far we like it. The locals here are nice. They have a strong Kiwi accent that makes for some confusion when they order drinks. They order lots of drinks with lemonaid, and expect 7 up. The funny thing beeing we sell proper lemonaid.
The room were in is kinda depressing. I feel like all we do is watch TV. TV isn't so bad on a couch but in a bed I just feel like a slob. Eating in bed and what not.
Work is slow right now but should pick up in a few weeks. So I'm looking forward to that.

ReplyDeleteOh I love the steps photograph. I can't wait to see new zealand. You'll have to let me know where to visit. The British say lemonade for sprite as well. They didn't have proper lemonade there though. Enjoy it all! Speak soon mr! x
